How are you? I hope you have had a really good day today and you've eaten well and rested when you could! Please always look after yourself well!

Finally tomorrow is Chuusday! But tonight is you too! Ah I want to stay up and listen but i can't stay up late every night or I'll mess up my mornings. So I'll listen to the upload tomorrow! I'm sure it's all amazing! I'm so happy to be hearing the recordings hehe.

but mostly I'm looking forward to hearing your voice again!

I saw the trailers for Hip Hop King. I'm looking forward to seeing you in it for sure. You look like you brought your best for this. And I'm dying to hear you, because I can see you giving it everything it needed. Like I said, if the line is snarky or sarcastic, then deliver it fully like that. Battle Rap is very different to the rap in kpop songs, right? So it was important to bring the right attitude and it looks like you've done that. So I'm really impatient to see and hear it all now.

I'm not sure on my feelings I the whole drama yet. I've seen very little and it will be a new experience for me to see such a story in a Korean context. Life and growing up is experienced very differently there tbh. Our societal, while there is cross over, are very different.
Eminem recently produced a battle rap orientated drama too that I've been manning to check out but i need to reactivate my YouTube red for it. I might work out to watch it in tandem to this drama. Might be an interesting experience in perspectives and could help me give you more complete feedback hehe.

Anyway, i wonder how your new work is going. I'm super curious about it. But I know you're doing amazing. Wet talk about challenging new roles and while it is indeed a new experience to do a different kind of character and it takes a different mindset, remember that at the end of the day, its still acting, just like the last role. Don't over complicate it in your head. You're an actor and you're good at acting, so this is just doing the same thing differently. Believe in your ability as an actor to convey the character correctly. And remember that you're the one doing it because you're the only one who could. There is so much more to picking the right person for a role than how you delivered the lines.. you are unique and that counts too. What you showed was unique to you, and that's what sold them on picking you. So believe they made the right choice and its you bringing this character off the page and onto the screen because only you could do it right. Give it your best you.

Another example of this.. Tony Stark in the movies is nothing like the Stark of the comics. I didn't like him very much in the comics. I think RDJ gave him the very best part of RDJ and created an amazing character with him.

Give yourself some credit always on how a character turns out because he is coming from inside of you. He doesn't exist in his present form without you because as much as they become a part of you, you are a part of them. Without you, he's just words on a page.

Ah the performance yesterday was so good to see T-T I was so glad to see the first Cross Gene performance in a while! Thank you for your efforts yesterday! You were amazing! I'm so proud of you!

And the vlive!! You guys are so cute! I missed seeing Cross Gene playing around together T-T It was really wonderful.

But with Maknae's vocal folds, please take care of him. CandY are happy to wait until he heals fully. We miss you all like crazy and we want to hear you all again, but not at the expense of any of you. So please don't feel rushed. Please give him the time he needs. He wants to sing on stage for the rest of his life, right? If that's his dream then we have to protect it. And we both know if he doesn't heal it will just get worse. So let's protect our Maknae's dream with our love and patience!

I would hope we would all do the same for any of you.

How about you? Is everything going well? You're doing a good job. I know that. So remember and believe that too. It don't have to be perfect the first time, remember. You have second and third chances here. And don't forget to listen to the advice of the more experienced cast around you. But only take with you what you need and what works for you. have your own goal of what you want to achieve and work towards that only. Don't ever try to be the next anyone. Try to be the first you! You are unique and what you bring to the set us unique. So allow yourself to be you 150%. Because the only person you can succeed at being is you. You cannot be anyone else and trying to be is ensuring you won't succeed. Work out the best you and shoot for the stars..

Ah your mother truly does seem like such an amazing person. But i understand more now why you are one of the precious men with a healthy respect for women. Because you saw all your mother did and does and you admired it. But it's like that. Women now work, keep the house, cook everything, raise the children, and still make the time to study more or learn to do more.. Women are amazing, right? That you can see that is actually really uplifting for me. Of course there is a lot to be said around this but I'm glad to know that the idol I have chosen to give so much of my time, my effort, my love and respect to, is a man such as this. You just give me more and more reasons why you're truly and deeply amazing.
I am used to a world where people assume i am a man and when they find out I'm not they invariably say things such as "i thought you were a guy because you seem really intelligent/ smart".. so do they think I'm less smart now? Yes. Yes they do. it's so odd but this is a real thing that has happened to me so many times.
Like when they thought I was male they always spoke to me respectfully and politely.. after they found out i wasn't they became very argumentative and would speak down at me.
These were women too. It's like that time i mentioned that it's super disheartening for me when people make such a huge deal out of male kpop fans when it's mostly the girls busting their backs and bank accounts to pull off the wins and huge sales..
It's like they get credit just for existing while we get mocked just for liking idol groups.
It's a strange world out there sometimes..
But you've always been such a bright light in this darkness. You respect us and the work we do. You respect us enough to ask and remember our names. you help us and cheer us on too. you support and motivate us. it's incredible to have such an idol to love. I am truly grateful that you exist.. and deeply grateful to your mother for raising such an amazing person. I love that you have so much love and respect for your mother who seems too be a good role model.

Since I got a regular job I also don't mind waking up early in the morning. Of course that I would like to sleep more sometimes, but work is work and has to be done. I can always nap in the afternoon when I arrive home 😊
