Are you doing good? Those Fluffy pancakes look delicious! I like the regular pancakes more, I always put homemade strawberry and raspberry jam on my pancakes.
It's interesting that you wanted to keep a snake, my sister had the same dream! She likes the yellow python the most. I'm not sure if I'd like to keep snakes, maybe I would get used to them in the end 😊

How has your day been? I hope your day has been going really well! I hope you are always eating so well hehe. And do take care in the heat. I hope always that you are happy and healthy!

Tonight will be another great night! Grandpa Shin is always a wonderful guest♡ The difference in countries customs will always be a thing so it's nice to have grandpa shin to let us know the norms in Korea. I always do my best to let people know what is usual where I am from too as it can cause confusion or misunderstandings, and it helps people understand me and my beliefs better I think. I always try to be respectful of other countries customs, but there is a line on that.. Only to the point that it's not harming anyone or denying them basic human rights. And I fully expect others to hold my own country to the same standard.. I certainly do.
I can respect anything that respects the life, wellbeing and autonomy of the people that live in this world.
I tend not to get into political conversations tho, Because at the end of the day, I don't consider my views to be political - just human. ^_^
But that's so off the point, lmao.
I'm interested in hearing more about Korean customs that I'm not aware of yet! Korean people have always treated me kindly when I wad there, so I'd love to hear more and expand my love and respect for Korea.

Are those the Soufflé pancakes? I keep seeing them on Instagram and I really want to try them one day T-T maybe i can find somewhere when i come over to see Cross Gene ^_^ They do look nice.
And I love maple syrup T-T Its also good on bacon.. hehe

You wanted a snake??? Did I read that right? Maybe it's the Australian in me but snakes are things I'll walk halfway around the neighbourhood to avoid lol.. But i can understand your love for animals.. We just have a lot of snakes that are best avoided over here so that must be cultural lol.
But truly animals are amazing. I've actually watched several videos in YouTube lately from a Korean show that rescues stray and neglected animals.. There was a couple on some dogs whose loyalty was so deep that they waited in the same spot every day for years for their owners to return.. One dog waited 10 years in the same spot.. There was also a cat that was doing the same.. That loyalty is so beautiful. 😍 I'm sure that Corn and Nari are also that loyal and loving.

I think some jealousy is perfectly natural for people but so long as you trust who you are with, that is what's important. I know envy is looked down upon a lot but in some ways it can help encourage people to strive harder and do better.
You are right that people shouldn't be saying they love their idol more than their partner.. i don't have that problem tho lol. But if i was in that situation i would be mindful of my partners feelings too and try to make sure they feel safe. How that is achieved depends on the situation but I understand those feelings so i wouldn't just dismiss them. I'd try to understand them first and see how to proceed from there. After all, my partner is still just a human with emotions and they do matter to them so as my partner they should also matter to me.
