How are you? did you have a good night? Ate you happy? Did you eat? I'm still hoping everything is going well for you. If I could have only one thing every day for the rest of my life, it would be that you had a positive and happy day every day.

Me? Ah I'm good where it counts. I did however bring a souvenir home from Korea with me.... its a cold. I got sick. I think i did that pretty early too because for the first fansign i attended i had got so cold in the taxi that i couldn't warm myself back up at all. I don't regret going though. To me this is worth it. Inside though I'm really really amazingly well and good.

I want to write so much right now but i can't.. I already tend to go overboard. Honestly right now I should sleep and hope I'm feeling better in the morning.

ああああーー知らなかったわ、シンくんとナムジュヒョクくんが同じジムで同じジムトレーナーとトレーニングするんだ。初めて知ってました。CandYのおかげでそのトレーナーさんのIG見つけましたよ。本当にシンくんとナムジュヒョクくんと一緒に写真を撮ったことがありましたね。シンくん、1週間に何回ぐらいジムに通いますか？やっぱりトレーニングは大変ですか？シンくんも頑張ってくださいね♡(°´ ˘ `°)/

Thank you as always for a great show. My favourite time of the week, really.

Ahh Its March already so We will get to see the show soon right? I'm so impatient. I think Shin and Kangnam together will make this one of the best episodes to watch. And I am grateful to Kangnam for any and all care he took of our Shin.

Ah, I would love to hear Shin play the piano one day. I really to like piano pieces. I actually have a lot of Yiruma in my some of my playlists. And a friend of mine once sent me a video of her playing a piece by Yiruma for me. I was so grateful. There is one piece in particular that I love the most though, and I have always wanted to learn how to play myself so I could play it.

White Mind is still my favourite.. but I love the use of panflute in pop/modern music. I think that might be what really captures me with TropHouse.. Ying Yang actually is my favourite for this.

Lyrically - ah, I feel like a lot was lost in the english translations. I think because the lyrics are indeed deep, but there is a quick correlation that people can make with the ones in English, they were translated in the thought that the song meant that instead of what it is. I have been meaning to work with a friend to see if we can't redo them in a way that is more reflective of the meaning of the song.

But also Black or White and White/Black Mind, and the Black or White Music Video are also art that will resonate with the listener on a personal level.
Resonate in the context that it means like how people understand and connect with certain things. Like is someone were to say something inspiring to you and it moved you very deeply, it means their words resonated with you.

and in this situation, the lyrics are very straight forward in how you understand them, but they will be understood by other listeners based upon their own personal experiences and feelings.

These kinds of songs are truly works of art. For example Sia - yes she's a favourite of mine for her lyrical work lol - felt that Titanium was very cheesy and was embarrassed to have written those lyrics. But she attended a choral performance of Titanium once and after it many of the children in the choir took turns in explaining how Titanium had given them hope and strength, and how the lyrics of the song had affected them so deeply and given them the will to keep going even though they had been profoundly affected by things like bullying and abuse. And that was very eye opening for her. So again, this is like with Black or White - how we interpret it will come from within us, not what was written into it.

I am really so very proud of Cross Gene for choosing to go this way with their music. Music is healing, and so are Cross Gene. Its a perfect match.

I'm glad you and Kangnam became friends, I look forward to his next appearance on ChuusDAY~ every time I hear about a group disbanding, I'm always sad... :( I hope Kangnam is still in contact with the rest of M.I.B. and that they will make beautiful music together again.
I have never been to Japan so I can't recommend any places to visit but you should definitely go see the cherry blossoms! They're very pretty, no matter in which country you see them. I used to have cherry trees in my garden and they always bloomed so beautifully! ♡
I want to see Cross Gene soon. Do you have any plans to visit Europe? I would come to Korea but I don't have enough money yet. I will work hard to earn money so I will be able to attend your concerts and fan meetings! Wait for me, okay? :D I will definitely fly to Korea one day ^^

Hello Shin-kun! Sorry for writing late this time :( work consumes me, but I when I think about CROSS GENE's hard one, all my troubles seem so small and not important. I was running home thinking about listening to Chuusday today. It's really become a ritual, haha.
I'm glad you met such great people back in the jungle. Thank you to Kangnam-san and the rest of your team for making you feel more comfortable during your trip to Indonesia.
Looks like one more CROSS GENE member has learned to play the piano~ but why didn't you ask Takuya or Seyoung to teach you? Or did you? XD Anyway, I'm so looking forward to seeing you play it one day ^^
