But also its crazy how almost all of our public holidays fall within 6 months. So there is half a year with only one lol.
From the kings birthday in June until Christmas at the end of December.
Only Labour Day in October.. and tbh, i don't even remember it last year lmao.

I am actually really looking forward to hearing you a lot this year hehe. It may be an odd thing to say, but listening has made me pretty happy recently. Like I am paying far more attention to sound right now ...
I have been listening to some instrumentals more as it makes it easier to hear all the different elements to a song.
But your voice is still my most favourite sound in the whole world.
I know you aren't as fond of it.. but please remember you have a very distinct voice.
I was watching a video of someone doing a react on a song from last year and she picked up it was your voice very quickly. So when people have listened to you before, even if they can't see your face, they know your voice.
and that voice... I love that voice hehe.
I love how its so soft and warm when you're singing, and then its strong and cool when you are talking.
Yanno, you're kinda perfect. Just thought I should remind you of that hehe.

The public recording was really that long ago?
But also, I've been in my new job since then so tbh, it doesn't feel that long ago. I still feel like i am new at work.

I couldn't get tickets anyway. So it was five to sign the new with contract. I had to sign an extension last month because they still needed me to fill that role.. but i know the ultimate goal is to automate the work I'm doing so it will end one day.
For now I'm under contract until may.
So i have to do my best to work around that.

But then, that might be the easier challenge lol.

I haven't seen you since BZZA BTY, so that's even longer though T-T
2 whole years have passed since then. T-T

I really do want to come and support you again. And of course I'll promote your album.
I'm glad it will be in a format that i can share and promote.
You deserve success and recognition for all of your hard work.
I do hope you will achieve that this year♡

Ah, i know what i want to eat this year lol. But i probably won't get to yet T-T but I'm sure I'll enjoy it when i finally can.

I don't really watch a lot of TV, so that makes it hard for me to learn from there.
The best I can do is watch your videos again and try to understand.
I do believe I'm getting better though.
I'm picking up sentence structures and separating words. Even recognising the words i know. So that's progress!
I'm not yet sure I'll get to see you in march, and I'm not sure I'll be able to talk on korean even if i can..
But one day I will get to meet you and talk to you in korean.

At the very least, maybe we can be like Zedd? Even though we speak our own languages, we understand each other♡
That way, even if you're tired, you can speak in korean and I will understand you.
I want to achieve at least that much.

Ah, i can understand the bird lol. I too feel like I have to tear holes in the packaging to get to my food lol.
Me feeling far too destructive lately lol.
But I'm more impatient these days.

I think that's one thing I've realised and am going to change this year.
I was always a good girl and i always waited patiently..
But i have learned that patience only gets you so far... and if you're always quietly patient, people will keep seeing you as someone they can keep putting off.
They will say "well i know she will wait and not cause trouble so I'll serve everyone else first"..
Eventually, despite being a reasonable and helpful person, you are getting less than everyone else.
Instead of people looking at you and thinking they need to treat you fairly because you always help them out, they look at you and see someone willing to accept the least effort and worst service.
Meanwhile, the loudest, most difficult people get to go first.

It hit me when I was reading about how a certain company had a "desperation" metric.
Basically, the prior that really need the money and will obviously take even the smallest paying jobs get ranked as more desperate- and they are only shown the small jobs that no one else wants because they don't pay enough.
Meanwhile, the people who know their worth will be shown better jobs that pay more.

And so i realise, i can't be as patient or sacrificing any more.
I don't want to be loud and annoying either..
But i have to acknowledge my worth and ensure I'm treated fairly.

So while i want to be like the bird and just force my way in lol.
I will simply and respectfully ask for fairness for me.
But i digress lol.

Just things i end up thinking of lately.
I definitely look at life differently now and i think it's good.
